Under some circumstances, it is possible to extend this period by 3 months. B-components are susceptible to frost. Storage should be at room temperature and never fall below +/- 0°C, to avoid crystallization. The A-component is not susceptible to frost, but the containers should nonetheless be kept in a dry location that is not too cold. Packaging The smallest packaging size for this product is 25 kg pails. In addition, FERMAPOR K31products are available for order in 180 kg drums or 1000 kg IBC's. UL listing The foam FERMAPOR K31-A-9230-2-VP with K31-B-4 at a mixing ratio of 4.5: 1 is UL 50, UL 50E (including the oil immersion test and periodical compression) and UL 508 recognized under file no. MH26871.
