Compression Latch (rotate and pull) Page 1 - 070 HD compression latch with 5 mm clamping grip for application outside sealed area. • RH or LH application, vibration proof. • Function is based on two 90º rotations. The first 90º rotation of the actuator brings the cam in closed position and automatically aligns a sagging door. (Seal not yet compressed.) • A further 90º rotation pulls the door tight by 4.5 mm. Matching dots mark the final position (see lower drawing). This double function is especially beneficial for pressurized enclosures: after the first 90º opening rotation, the pressure can escape because the door is still latched. • To increase the A-dimension add 5 mm spacer(s).
