Stop & Stay+with internal pre-set friction control valve An alternative to the adjustable standard Stop & Stay is the Stop & Stay+ gas spring with an internal pre-set friction control valve. This product has been designed without the need for an external friction device doing away with the need for any manual adjustment. The Stop & Stay+ is ideally suited to production volumes where consistency and repeatability An extensive range of sizes and forces Gas springs are commonly referred to by their size. The three sizes for Stop & Stay gas springs are 6-15, 8-18 and 10-23 The sizes directly relate to the diameter of the rod and the tube, for example an 8-18 will have a rod diameter of 8mm and a tube diameter of 18mm. Size & force for Vari-Lift TM versions For Vari-Lift TM versions add 5mm for the valve when calculating the extended length. The force is set to the maximum as standard but can be pre-set lower as required.
